Latest News: December 2005 Welcome to the holiday season! This month we are launching two new exciting routes from the Garden Route up the east coast of South Africa. The Montague Pass route is a new "off-road" innovation with some excellent scenery and the Two Valleys route is certainly worth taking a look at. Our "SP" routes for those that are interested in spinning have been very well received and we will be adding to this genre in the near future. During the festive season we will be running special offers, so please do not forget to check back regularly to see what is new. We wish all a safe and peaceful run up to the New Year ! August 2005: Since our last news update there have been major development of new routes and the website. But firstly we need to thank all our customers that have provided us with feedback. All your comments have been collated and are under review for future changes and improvements. We have just released our first "Mini Tour" on 2 Disks which takes you out of the well known area of Cape Town into the bushveld country that most people rarely would get an opportunity to ride in. The Panorama Mini Tour is something that you definitely want to try just to experience the scenery! We have also made changes to make shopping easier on the site. Now you can add your selected routes to your shopping cart directly from the information pages, without having to go to a separate online shop. Hopefully this will eradicate some of the integration problems that we were experiencing. Well known professional spinning instructors have discovered Chasek Indoor Trainer routes and are now using them in their classes. We will shortly be publishing more details about how our DVD's are being used to update "old style" spinning classes and make them far more interesting and enjoyable. We have also started making an archive of the articles that are published in our ezine available for those that have missed them. You can find previously published articles here , but please be aware that there is a delay between when we publish the article in the newsletter and when we make it available in the archive. April 2005: NTSC versions of all our available routes are now shipping! This also means that we will be shipping both NTSC and PAL versions of all new products as well. We will be announcing our new products and routes through our email newsletter, so make sure that you have subscribed! There are new benefits that are available to newsletter subscribers only. Please note that all new products are only going to be available from the 2Crossings online shop. March 2005: The Cape Argus Pick 'n’ Pay Cycle Tour Expo was a huge success!!! The response from customers was amazing. So amazing, that stocks for the Argus Cycle Tour DVD sold out in the first 2 days. Charlie Newcombe from Chasek said “This show was an ideal platform for launching the Chasek Indoor Training Routes. Customers were queuing up to get a glimpse of our DVDs being demonstrated. We look forward to attending again next year. Our main focus now is to finish production for our products in to the US market, as well as expand our product range”.
Feb 2005: Charlie Newcombe from Chasek will be exhibiting at the Cape Argus Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour Expo (at the Goodhope Centre) and will be available on stand's 87/88/89 [this is right opposite the polar stand] from 09/03/2005 - 12/03/2005. For those keen cyclists that are in Cape Town to ride the Argus, this is an ideal time to find out more about Chasek products and talk to the creator! |
